Di Rocco教授目前是德國(guó)國(guó)際神經(jīng)科學(xué)研究所的兒科主任, 曾擔(dān)任羅馬天主教大學(xué)醫(yī)學(xué)院神經(jīng)外科研究主席, 是國(guó)際兒科神經(jīng)外科醫(yī)生。曾擔(dān)任國(guó)際兒科神經(jīng)外科 (ISPN) 和歐洲兒科神經(jīng)外科學(xué)會(huì) (ESPN) 主席。目前, 他是國(guó)際神經(jīng)外科學(xué)會(huì)聯(lián)合教育委員會(huì)主席。
還和M. Choux和K. Hovind教授一起創(chuàng)辦了兒童神經(jīng)外科研究生課程，該項(xiàng)課程在過(guò)去三十年里為國(guó)際培養(yǎng)了無(wú)數(shù)兒童神經(jīng)外科醫(yī)生。Di Rocco教授發(fā)表在各類科學(xué)期刊的文章超過(guò)400多篇，為教科書(shū)編纂了70多個(gè)章節(jié)的內(nèi)容。他與人共同編寫(xiě)的兒童神經(jīng)外科（Churchill Livingstone出版），該書(shū)榮獲皇家作家學(xué)會(huì)醫(yī)學(xué)書(shū)籍獎(jiǎng)。
